Mickes, Brand identity

As part of my studies at Berghs, I developed a refreshed brand identity for Mickes Records, a well-known record store in Södermalm, Stockholm. The goal was to modernize the visual expression while preserving the store’s unique character.

I simplified the logo design and kept Mickes' iconic yellow color, reinforcing its strong brand recognition. To add contrast and energy, I introduced a red accent color along with a new graphic element designed for use across digital platforms, including their website.

The poster concept highlights Mickes' broad appeal by emphasizing its diverse selection, “something for everyone.” Each poster variation was tailored to niche genres, showing Mickes as the go-to destination for music lovers of all tastes.
